    I watched one of Kiefer’s videos saying you could have alcohol on carbnite, but doesn’t alcohol lower your blood sugar instead of spike it?

    Ah that is a “it depends” subject. You could drink some straight liquor, like vodka or tequila, since those can help “dry you out”, but it’s a experiment you’ll have to try.

    From the research I’ve seen, alcohol lowers blood sugar by impeding hepatic glucose output. If you are consuming large amounts of carbs, however, this should not be an issue; although, it is not really a high blood sugar you want, as much as an insulin surge, which does not se to be diminished.
