I’ve been olympic lifting for just under 2 years, and have played around with CBL a bunch. I’m coming off of 3 months of high volume strength work in the form of 10’s 5’s, and 3’s across the board, and CBL was perfect, I really didn’t think at all and just ate as much as I could in the evenings. The new program coming up is going to be Bulgarian style (very low volume, daily max singles in 3-5 lifts 4-5 days a week), any thoughts on how to adjust backloads with this new style? With the high intensity obviously I’ll get sufficient GLUT translocation, is it just a matter of decreasing carb intake from unlimited to a more controlled amount that I find comfortable? Thanks for any input!
