    What is the lifting protocol for “NEG” I noticed in Heavy Duty that a “NEG SET” calls for 1×10, but how do you perform the lift to comply with NEG?

    Negative. Having someone apply pressure as you finish the lift.

    Another option if you are on a machine is 2-1 method. 2 arms/legs to lift and 1 to lower. Or if you have a squat rack or power cage you can put more weight on the bar the you can actually lift then lower it to the safety
