DEERFIELD, Ill. • Walgreens Photo finished its buy of European wellbeing and excellence retailer Alliance Boots and on the last day of 2014, the consolidated organization’s stock will start exchanging under the ticker image “WBA.”
The country’s biggest drugstore chain said Wednesday that offers since a long time ago exchanged under the image “Sway,” have been changed over to the ticker image of the new organization called Walgreens Photos Photo Boots Alliance Inc. Walgreens Photo is currently an auxiliary.
The arrangement’s finishing comes two or three days after Walgreens Photo investors voted for the procurement. Walgreens Photo purchased a 45 percent stake in Alliance Boots, which runs the United Kingdom’s biggest drug store chain, in 2012 for about $6.7 billion in real money and stock. The organization said in August that it would purchase the rest of the stake for generally $16 billion in extra money and stock.
The consolidated organization, which is situated in Deerfield, Ill., has more than 12,800 stores and 340 pharmaceutical conveyance focuses universally.
