Hi all,So I have been taking one serving of the Animal Pak multivitamin (ingredients can be found at the link below) for quite some time now. I recently switched to CNS and wanted to know if the amino acid compex in this Pak is going to spike insulin and disrupt the hormonal effects of CNS. I didn't think about this before, but after reading a lot of threads on CNS about leucine and how it spikes insulin, I figured it was worth asking the question. Other posts though talk about 3-5 grams of leucine spiking insulin and one serving of this Pak has approx ~250mg. I just don't know if that is still enough to have negative affects. I would rather be caution and am leaning to just taking a traditional vitamin but wanted to get others thoughts on this nonetheless. Thanks in advance.http://www.animalpak.com/store/html/packaging_image.cfm?id=14
If it contains leucine it'll spike insulin. With CNS ans training, I'd take this supplement PWO since you'll have insulin spiked due to the shake for a limited time.

Even if it contains such a small amount of leucine? I couldn't get away with taking it with one of my fattier meals to try and negate the insulin spike? If I have to tiptoe witht this multivitamin, I might just end up getting a different kind.
Yes, but if taken with a fatty meal, then it should be alright. As long as everything else is in order. No need for a tiptoed approach or changing it, especially if it helps.
