I'm looking to make an order on TN soon. Here's what I'm thinking for intra- and post-training shakes. Any thoughts/recommendations?Intra-workout blendDebitterized Hydrolyzed Whey Protein 1 scoop (25g protein)Glycofuse (highly branched cyclic dextrin) 1 scoop (25g carbs) Leucine 5 gPost-workout blendCustom Blend from TrueNutrition - 1 scoop (25g protein)- Whey Protein Isolate Cold-Filtration [Milk] (30%)- PeptoPro – Hydrolyzed Caseinate [Milk] (20%)- Micellar Casein [Milk] (30%)- Debitterized Hydrolyzed Whey Protein [Milk] (20%) 1 scoop Dextrose (20g carbs)5g leucineMy primary goals are mass gain (hypertrophy) and recovery from a powerlifting program that has some bodybuilding approaches towards accessory work (Cube Method). I'm open to suggestions on these shakes. Part of me wonders if I'd be just as well off ordering the Team Skip blend and saving some $, but my blend is closer to what Kiefer advocates in CBL 1.0 Thanks for any help!

The pepto pro would be better off in your intra-workout versus the hydro whey.I wouldn't do a blend for the PWO, I'd stick with just ordering hydro whey, then maybe a whey iso/casein blend, and dextrose seprate. If you are having HBCD intra-workout, you really don't need the carbs in the shake and would just save that for extra whole foods.

Thanks Trevor. Just to clarify, hydro whey for PWO AND a whey iso/casein blend? When should the whey iso/casein blend be consumed?

Honestly I'd still rather buy every separate and mix myself, I'm just saying if you'd like a blend to safe effort that's the only ones I'd blend and I'd use them for AM shakes during the day and such

+1I don't trust someone else to effectively mix the powders well. If someone is lazy at the factory or whatever, you could end up having pure whey hydro for the top 1/3 of the bag, pure casein for the next third, etc, when you think you're getting a blend of each.

Good points. ThanksIs there any harm in blending Hydrolyzed Casein and PeptoPro just to cut down on the cost? $30 a pound plus shipping is steep!

Just found NOW Hydrolyzed Whey at my local supplement shop. $29.99 for 2 lbs – will this do for PWO? Seems like a pretty good price

Pepto pro is different and works better, but Hydro casein is decent. You could also look at Plazma from biotest for a really good intra-workout, it has pepto pro and HBCD.

Thanks again Trevor, do you use the full 30 gram scoop for dosing PeptoPro? I've seen some other sites that recommend 10-15g

I use peptopro PWO and find 10-15g is enough. I do have a similar amount of isolate too (15-20g).

No, I use 15g per workout.
