Not sure if anyone on here has used cbl or cbl cn hybrid for any sort of contest prep where you drop bf relatively fast, if that is indeed what contest prep is(im not sure im kind of a noob). But what has worked best for you all in general? im roughly 170 14-15%bf about to start cbl heavy duty again and taking nicotine 2mg am 2mg pre training a few hrs. Thanks in advance-impatient Dieter

Most likely straight CNS, with some daily fasted walking and 3 HIIT sessions plus 3-4 lifting sessions a week most likely would be best, but you run a risk of losing muscle. You will run the risk of losing muscle with any diet you causes rapid weight loss. Also, keeping protein moderate while fat high would be best, both for fat burning and limit muscle loss.

ok cool, ive always heard around 15% cns may not work as well and to stick with cal but ill definately try this, i defs dont want to lose much muscle though. in your experience have you been able to lose anywhere from 1-2lbs a week on cbl with no muscle loss?

I switched from CBL SA to CN to burn the fat. Did it for 6 weeks and on average lost about 2lbs a week. I reckon I lost a bit of muscle along the way but I am now back on CBL SA to get the muscle back quickly whilst keeping the body fat the same. I was prepared to loose a bit of muscle to get rid of the fat quicker than on SA. I Would recommend this to anyone who is getting impatient with their fat loss.

This man has it down pat. But I would caution fast fat loss for anyone where its not potentially life or death (as in needed for surgery) Fat loss in itself is not a healthy venture and the faster you do it the less healthy it becomes.

I'm pretty sure I've heard Kiefer mention a person can lower their daily protein intake to as low as 30 grams to enable faster body fat loss and still take in enough to maintain muscle mass. Am I remembering this correctly? I can't seem to find the podcast. I think it was on the CNS or CBL update video that for some reason is no longer online.http://carbbackloading.com/update/http://carbnite.com/update/Does anyone have a copy of either/both videos? Here is a link that talks about the videos.http://athlete.io/forum/index.php?topic=15978.0Kiefer's Detox Diet 2.0 is also a possibility.http://athlete.io/forum/index.php?topic=3060.msg31235#msg31235This is another rapid fat loss protocol similar to what is being talked about.http://www.bulletproofexec.com/rapid-fat-loss-protocol/

I would have to agree.  CNS is already probably the fastest way to drop fat without losing muscle once you are below 15% bodyfat.  The only way to make it faster would be to add HIIT session and lots of very low intensity exercise.  Of course adding in fasts and supplements/drugs like nicotine and caffeine.

Yep I agree with what has been said. The new Flex magazine for next month has an article about "Choosing your diet" from Kiefer. Pretty much reiterating what diet is best for what goal you have in mind. 6 weeks out from a show would be great for a specific quick fat loss protocol, but for us as the above average crowd, slow and steady wins the race.
