KrohnKeymasterHi, I have a question regarding my carb-backloading meal plan. I go to bed around 1-2am and wake up around 10am. then i go to the gym around 12pm so 2 hours after i wake up. what i cant figure out is when to start eating my first meal and when to start loading up the carbs .. i have read the book countless time but cant quite figure it out. here is my plan: Carb-Backloading – Density Bulk10am wake12:00-1:00pm træning start:Meal1 – 10:30am : 2 egg & 1 cup of coffeeMeal2 Prewo – 11:45-12:00 : 3-4 Caffeine pills + 2 glasses of waterIntrawo – 1l water M3 PWO – 1:00-1:30pm : 60g Whey & 5g creatine - 20-30g dextrose M4 – 3:00pm : Ham with 4 eggs or bacon – 0,5l waterM5 – 5:00-5:30pm : 1 can of tuna & mayo – 2 glasses of waterM6 – 7:00pm : ½-1 avocado with skyr – 2 glasses of waterM7 (carbs) – 8:30pm : Beef/Chicken with jasmin rice or potatos – 2 glasses of waterM8 (carbs) – 11:00pm : Sandwich with milkM9 (carbs) before bed : Skyr with icecream and 1. bananaMy stats is following: Age: 19Weight: 75kgHeight: 176 cmBF%: 10-12% (the machine shows different numbers from week to week sometimes 10 other 12)Feel: Strong, some days a little soft around the abdominal area but might just be my brain messing with me. I workout schedule looks like this:Monday: Chest & Back (heavy)Tuesday: abs, calves(heavy), forearms, shrugs(heavy) Wednesday: Legs (heavy)Thursday: Shoulders, triceps, biceps (heavy)Friday: Same as tuesdaySaturday: legs (squats and deadlifts) (heavy)Sunday: OffdayI will be pleased of you can give me some tips on right and wrong in the mealplan and if i should cut some carbs some days etc. Thanks in advance 🙂- Krohn

CBachelor17Membergo to the section of the book where it talks about customization and its title ''nobodys perfect” its pretty black and white how you should/could do CBL with your schedule. But it seems like your plan already hits the guidelines pretty well. give it a try and see how it goes. DB is much more “user friendly” IMO.

Brandon D ChristParticipantDiet looks good. Though i wouldn't go any higher than 20 g of dextrose postworkout since you train relatively early in the day.On DB you should always be holding a little bit of water so you should get used to that. However, you should not be getting fat. Take weekly photos and make sure there isn't loss in definition. DB is the more difficult of the CBL protocols to master so you really have to play around with it.
