Hm. I must be doing diabeetus and obesity wrong then. I eat like a half dozen or more doughnuts nightly (in my usual bi weekly tri-phasic rotation with danishes and cinnamon rolls) and I am neither obese or diabetic.
Just illustrates one of my and Kiefer's pet peeves about the way the diet and health conversation is usually approached: no one takes exercise seriously. Or they think exercise is purely for creating a calorie deficit, so discount it when talking about the "causes of obesity".Regardless, Chris Kresser is correct about 2/3 (the fructose and the oil), and also correct about the grains IF you assume the context of a sedentary lifestyle.
