Question for the members—- I've been on Carb Nite for about a year. I've lost about 70lbs and I'm down to 230lbs. My goal weight is 220lbs. I'm still following the plan, but I've been stuck at 230 for about a month. I had shoulder (labrum/rotator cuff) surgery in June and was just released to do some light (very light-just the bar) bench press. Has anyone that has been on the plan for a while ever took a week off to see if it would kick start your weight loss? I'm not talking about 7 straight heavy CN's. More of a lower fat/moderate protein/moderat carbs. Any feedback would be appreciated.
I could actually be very helpful to take 1-2 months off and do a controlled version of CBL, Setting a reasonable allowed increase in weight (As you will hold more water and glycogen, plus maybe a couple of lbs extra) and maintaining it for the duration.

I agree with this. I did a shortened version of this (3 wees off), and it helped immensely.
I think I may do the month of December as CBL. What do you think is a reasonable weight gain to allow myself? If I'm 230lbs would you think 240lbs would be too much or too little?

Depends on glycogen stores. Personally after a large carb load I can gain 7-8lbs of just glycogen. However I'd say 10lbs would be a good point.
