robkat89ParticipantHey all im making my return to CNS! I have been in basic training (USAF) and absolutely wrecked my diet. BUT im happy to announce that im jumping back on the wagon! Its tougher being provided food vs. being able to cook your own. But luckily they have bacon and chicken breasts at every meal!So my days go like this:0500 Wake up (chew on some nicorette)0645 Bulletproof coffee (butter mct and HWP)1030 Chicken, Bacon, Veggies, salad w/cottage cheese ham and bacon bits)1500 nicorette gum again1800 Same as lunch2000 Workout2130 PWO Whey isolateHow do you all think that looks?I can definately tell im trimming down. I just started the gum yesterday and am excited about it.Im currently sitting at 198# and have yet to measure BF% but if i had to guess i would say 14% maybe.Wanting to get down to single digits!Cant wait to hear from you!!!Robkat out!

GnomerParticipantthey still starve you in air force basic? i was already skinny and lost 15lbs during my time in basic i looked like a skeleton..i went through in 2001 and we were given literally 2 minutes to eat each meal. In 07 i went to coast guard basic and was amazed that they actually gave us 30 min to eat at each meal.

robkat89Participantthey didnt starve me at all…i let my guard down and ate everything in sight. after 8.5 weeks i gained 8# which isnt terrible considering coming off ULC and shifting to Carbnite everyday. haha i felt like shit the entire time i was there BUT its my fault and now i get the fun task of getting back to where i was prior to BMT. yeah we got like maybe 7 minutes to eat food…and that was a high estimate.

Richard SchmittModeratorY'all had time to eat? I swore we sat down and got right back up sometimes only a bite!

yea same for me.. they had us in tables of 4 and you had to finish by the time the next four guys were ready standing by the table.. was generally 1-2 min total.. i'm not good at stuffing my face that fast so I was starving all the time

robkat89Participantyeah it was quite the experience learning to stuff your face in that short of time. A lot of us came up with little tricks on how to maximize each bite. But thanks to that tactic i had a couple extra LBs to lose. But that is one of the reasons why I love the fitness lifestyle, that i can take the situation im in or the composition that I am sitting at and completely alter it. Just by trying. Sweat is the exhaust of my success, and i sure do have a lot of rust build up.Let's GO!!
