First off dont worry about ketosis. Its not important as far as fat loss goes. Some people get into it and some never do. Its not a major. You'll still burn fat. Everyone does all the time. The idea is that you eat your carbs, store them in the muscles and liver (cant avoid the liver nor should you) sleep through until morning where you generally have depleted your livers glycogen and are burning mostly fat. Then so long as you dont eat carbs in the morning fat burning continues until more carbs are introduced. Of course this in itself doesnt mean youll lose body fat but it does put you in a state thats very allowing for it.
