Hello all, Been a while since I have posted because my work computer had this website blocked for a while. I am planning doing the introduction phase the day after New years and I was wondering with the first backload should you treat it as a CN or maybe half of what you would do for a CN? I have had great success with both CBL and CN in the past but when I went to CBL from CN I didn't do the prep phase because I was on CN for 4 months prior. My plan is to backload with 1.5X my ideal number with the weight that I lose during the prep phase. Thanks everyone and Happy Holidays!

I would just do it by the book man. Normal backload, fill glycogen stores (what ever number you have determined), and then keep plugging on with the protocol. No need for a 6 hour feed.

I would say it depend on your training schedule.  If you are doing DB, and will be having carbs everyday, just go with a normnal backload, but if not, you can probably have some flexibility as to your carb intake at the end of prep phase.

I'd use the chart in the book..Track how much weight you lose through the intro phase, refer to the chart, and have roughly that many carbs on your first backload. Then the following backloads will be smaller.
