Yeh, I think cookbooks are great as a base to start off with and you can work from there. What I was able to do was take the recipe found on here for low-carb pancakes with the almond meal and work from there.put the pan on low-medium heat at 300 degrees.Do half a cup of almond meal, 1 scoop of whey protein (vanilla or chocolate), 2 oz of cream cheese, 1tsp of cinnamon, 1tsp of baking soda, 1/3 cup of sparkling water, 2 eggs (or egg beaters), touch of vanilla extract.. blend the whole thing togetherMake da pancakes. This also works without almond meal, just replace that with an extra egg or more cream cheese to make up for the portion size.I got this idea from combining other low carb recipes I found online, and I get puffy flavored pancakes. The recipe I found on here seemed a little dry and hard to swallow, so I tried to find ways to make it more soft and chewable.

I still get spam emails when I have already purchased the book ... LOLBTW, I tried the "bread" made with mascarpone cheese/eggs/pork rinds ... WOW.  First try was a bit "eggy" but when I got it right second time, it was actually better than bread.  Had it with butter and vegemite ... 🙂

I am buying this book today!I probably save double the money per week by skipping breakfast and having a big spoonful of coconut oil.Plus,I can fantasize about all that food...and a chick to cook it for me.
