John LaPlaca JrMemberHello everyone,This is day 7 of my reorientation into CN and so far I haven't felt the usual symptoms of carb withdrawls. I haven't had headaches, sluggish, or really tired. If anything I feel a lot better than I have from over the holiday season. I have been easily annoyed since day 3 but haven't gone through the other typical symptoms. I wasn't really craving carbs until seeing my sushi menu I plan for Saturday and now I already have an idea of what I want Saturday. I am thinking its a few reasons...... I have done CN/CBL for the past year and December I took a break so maybe my body handles ULC better than most? I have kept my fats and I am drinking a ton of water.

Brandon D ChristParticipantI never got low carb flu either. Actually I'm willing to bet most people don't. I think Kiefer said only 50% of people go into ketosis. Everyone else just immediately adapts to ketogenesis.

John LaPlaca JrMemberThe first time I was on CN I felt it bad on day 4 both otherwise was fine. During the Summer I did 5.5 days of ULC I felt awful but I was also taking Yohimbine and had zero desire to eat.

I did at that time. I have been training 4 days a week this time and once I work out I feel fantastic and hit one of my benches ever yesterday(340X2 with the sling shot).
