I am just finished a brian haycock hypertrophic program and at the end part of this is to decondition for 9-14 days, if I do ten days decon , would this be ok for my prep phase, or do I have to train, I have being doing low carb food intake for months now, besides a pig out every other week, (CNs maybe) so I'd say I'm not ever far from being in ketosis. To train or not to train? Would it make a difference down the road?Christopher
Being on CNS you don't have to train, no harm in recovering from that program, but working out is a great benefit to being healthy. Just throwing that out there for your question about the difference.
What I was getting at was, I was on my diet but didn't realise it was kinda like CNS, ( I am new to kiefer and his work) I bought the book and now am doing CBL. What I am looking to do is kill 2 birds with 1 stone, decondition from 1 program and prep for the other, no training for 10 days.

That'd work fine. Just make sure you are eating enough fats and protein to prevent you from losing any muscle over that break. I know the strategic deconditioning is factored into his program to make continued gains but I doubt he planned on people going low carb and low cal during these phases.
