Does anyone know if erythritol is an actual low carb…like stevia?  I was looking on a new pop and it is a stevia/erythritol blend but under carbs it say 40 grams and then it says 0 sugars but 40 gram erythritol?  Can someone explain is this is ok on ULC days?

the body doesn't absorb at all really.. what sort of effects that has on the body i don't think has been tested very much though.. but it doesn't effect insulin from what I read so should be fine on ULC days..

I've found it doesn't impact insulin or affect the body much at all. What “soda” were you look at? It's not a sugar just a sweetener.

Ive constantly used it, sometimes in moderate to high amounts, throughout some ULC days (esp. in coffee), and it hasn't affected me one bit.

I use it to sweeten my ULC day treats.
