Bullet Proof Dandelion Tea

    Just made some afternoon Dandelion Tea and place a little butter and coconut oil in it along with Stevia and cinnamon.  It tastes pretty good and will hopefully get me past some hunger pains until dinner.  Anyone see anything wrong with this combination?

    Fact – Cinnamon makes fat cells more insulin sensitive.  http://www.ars.usda.gov/is/ar/archive/jul00/cinn0700.htmIs this a bad thing on low carb days?  I would guess not but who knows?Is this a bad thing on your day with a carb nite?  The whole point of eating carbs at night is that your fat cells are less insulin sensitive.  I can't find any information on how long cinnamon makes fat cells more insulin sensitive.  Until this information comes out I would be careful with cinnamon on days you plan on eating carbs.

    I just use whatever tea I have laying around..usually decaf since the wife can't have any.  And its typically in the evening.  I don't use cinnamon though…not my bag.
