eisukunMemberHey guys, I just have a few questions that need some clarifications regarding CBL. I'm currently in day 7 of my prep phase and so far I think I'm doing good. So, here are my questions:1. I took my weight before i started the prep phase and it says in the book to it again after the 10th day. And on the 10th day of the prep phase you backload, right? On what part of the day should i actually do it? Before I backload or is it after or maybe even the next day?2. During day 3-6 of my prep phase I've been waiting for the mental lethargy thing to come but I did'nt have it at all. But now, Day 7, I felt it and I'm actually still feeling it now. Did I do something wrong or is this normal? Day 7 should be the start of the Fuel Reorientation phase so I should be feeling "on" rather than lethargic, right?BTW my stats before i started the prep phase are 5'9" 198lbs and around 18-20% BF.

1) That morning is best.2) It's normal, it takes longer for some folks to feel better or shorter. It depends on what diet you were on first and body stats, etc.

Just finish the 10-day..And like Tex said, you want to weigh again that morning, before you have your carbs. That way you know an approximation of how much weight, in carbs, you lost during the prep phase. That number will be your approximate total glycogen storage.

eisukunMemberHey guys so just an update on my CBL:I lost 10 lbs on the prep phase and I started doing backloading (finally) a week ago. I feel okay the morning after my backload but I think I'm losing some strength in the gym. I mean i can still lift the weights that I did before I went CBL but during the set (e.g. bench presses/squats) I feel "wobbly" or kinda shaking. Does this have anything to do with not enough carbs during the backload? I'm only consuming around 300-350g of carbs during backload sessions and on the book it says i need something around 700g. I'm doing Strength Accumulation btw.

Height: 175cm (5'9")Weight: 86kg(190lbs)I don't know my exact BF% but i think it's around 16-20%And my Macros are:Protein: around 150-160g dailyI have no idea how much fat I really consumeĀ :-Carbs during backload is 300-350g, I go ULC to no carbs during off days.

I would try to figure out what your fat macros are at least during the day, because you may need an extra boost of energy in the form of fat. Carbs may or may not be increased.

eisukunMemberI'll try to do that. Thanks for answering dude. I haven't been paying much attention to my fat intake because I'm focusing too much on my protein and carbs.
