Hello All, I know carb nite was designed for sedentary people for rapid fat loss but what if you want to work out? I am 6'1" and currently 250lbs. I can best describe my appearance as a padded built look. My main goal is to continue to shed body fat but i also want to work out. My question is can i lift while doing carb nite or would it be more of a carb back load type of deal. For example would having a post work out shake with protein hydrosolates and leucine to get that insulin spike stop my progress on ULC days? Am i only supposed to spike insulin on carb nites? Would the insulin spike after the workout not matter because of lifting and it being used to build muscle? thanks
You can lift while on CNS. A PWO Shake of whey, leucine, and creatine is a good idea. You want the spike PWO to stop your body to continue catabolism from training and insulin spikes during the CN itself.
