I am still a noob to Carb Nite and still have much to learn and fat to lose.Below are a few notes-to-self I made in my first 10 weeks:1. The scales can really mess with your head, particularly early on. Don't rely on it solely to gauge progress. The scales were a major source of stress/doubt in the first 8 weeks for me.2. Be very careful with MCT oil, Make sure you are near a toilet the first few times you take it. I would have shit my pants a few times at work if the toilet block wasn't so close.3. Enjoy your self and don't stress about the small things, from a technical perspective this diet is so simple it is difficult to do incorrectly.4. Count macros to get an idea of protein/fat/carb content of various foods for the first month, doing this early in the diet goes a long way in helping you instinctively make the correct food choices later on.5. Prepare meals in advance.6. When un-prepared and in a tight situation, a double quarter pounder minus sauce/bread is rarely too far away. (this should not turn in to a habit)

My first bout with CNS, I had to teach myself that I don't need to force feed myself on my CN. I had the mindsight of “oh it's carb nite! I'm going to eat every carb I see!”I'm on it again right now, for a short period, and I have very punctuated meals and I feel WAY better, and I'm having better results.

Thanks for the tip TCB, admittedly I am of your old mind set where I feel I have to eat everything and anything that I craved during the week. I'll look to change this next CN.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If that works for you, no worries. Just telling my experience for myself!

I agree. This is my second time around on CNS (i just had my second CN) and I'm keeping it a lot more mellow.  It's much nicer when I'm not going to bed feeling disgusting and bloated.  Just replenished.  We'll see if that translates to better results.
