Hello guys,i've been noticing that if i don't include any fiber in BL's (something like straight chicken, white-rice, cakes, without fiber nor veggies), i tend to experience a rise in heartbeat while digesting, until bedtime, which is quite annoying to fall asleep. The less fiber i ingest (so the larger the spike is), the stronger the heartbeat will be. And if i include some kind of fiber, let say for example eating some broccoli with meat first, and then gorge on HG carbs, i would not have that.Has anyone ever experienced this kind of issue? Thanks a lot,

Happens to me too and I believe that is a sign insulin is spiking as it is supposed too. Adding fiber will only prolong the rise in insulin levels which is NOT good. That only delays the GH release & fat metabolism process to start. I only eat enough High GI carbs to get the job done so the clearing of glucose knocks me out when I'm ready to sleep.
