    1. How do you guys use leucine? I know it's beneficial together with a PWO shake, which I already do. But, does any of you use it in other situations (on CBL), like 5 g win every meal in the backload as Kiefer suggest in his YouTube video on leucine. And of course, why/why not – what are the advantages and disadvantages? :). 2. Is it fine to backload protein somewhat, also? Controlling insulin during the ULC part of the day is easiest by keeping protein low, which typical results, for me, in a very high protein intake in the evening. Is this fine, even for muscle growth?

    1) I do take 5g of leucine prior to my Backloads. Normally it is 30-45 minutes after my PWO Shake.2) I don't see a problem with it, I wouldn't go just complete protein but add fats in there. Doesn't have to match up drastically but I do this.

So you only take 5 g before the backload, and not per meal in the backload? And then plus the 5 g in your PWO shake, I assume? Would a couple of meals of eggs and bacon be sufficient during the half of the day? And then get in the rest of the protein during the backload. The reason I ask, is because "people" usually say that the body can only handle something like 30 g of protein per hour, or something, but I think I heard Kiefer say it doesn't matter if one got all protein in one meal, or through many small meals?

Yes, but it also depends on how long I space out my carb meals. I do also add in 5g in my PWO Shake.Ah I do not believe that. Have at it.

Okay, that make sense. Is it possible you have to much leucine? Asking mostly from a aesthetic standpoint. Okay, having 100+ g of protein within a couple of hours is usually what I do..

From what I recall there is no problems with having too much leucine. There might be if you take like a pound of it.

The only problem is the taste of it.

Usually I just put a scoop in my mouth and drink some water to get it down, so it doesn't mess up my good tasting protein powder, haha.
