Michael c matthiasMemberI only wish to do pm because it's optimal for this diet. However the gyms are PACKED in the afternoon after I get off work(around 6pm) so I'm thinking do my normal workouts m,w,fAnd Sunday Tuesday and thursdY night I go to my apartment gym and use the machine weights(dumbbell only goes up to 50lbs) to try to open those receptors. (Db mil press, push press and seated leg press is what l do these days) I'll backload afterwards. Yay or nay?

Bradley R. CollinsParticipantThere' optimal for the diet and there's optimal for your life. I think the latter is more important.

gideon cullumMemberI read once that your spine hydrates during sleep and is more likely to injury when training early.or something like that. Also you are meant to be stronger as the day goes on adn things get going.Agreed though. Train to live.not live to train

Michael c matthiasMemberOr instead of doing the apt complex workouts sun/tues/Thursday I iust do them at night of the backload days? You people speak In riddles...And if it's due to training the same thing every day; some bodybuilder a trainer the same muscle everyday when they felt it was lacking and that helped said muscle grow.

SpatzModeratorIts better to train in the PM. However, morning training is still very good. PM training > Morning training > Middle training (12-2) > No training.

+1Another option is to find a new gym. There are many gyms that are not busy in the evenings.

My gym actually (except Wednesdays). And the gym I went to before that and the one trained at when I was traveling a month ago. Look for gyms that cater to lifters more than the "fitness" crowd. Usually they are mom and pop gyms, not the "brand name" gyms. Most cities have at least a few of them.Where do you live?
