Hi guysI am following a CNS protocol and have purchased whey isolate, creatine monohydrate and leucine all unflavoured. My question is what can you add into the shake to add a bit of flavour and not include carbs for ULC days??Been reading the forums for a few days now and have picked up so many good pieces of advise I did search an answer to this but not really found an answer. Thanks guys.
If you want zero carbs, I am not much help. But what I used to do is mix the unflavored powder with 1/2 cup pumpkin (8 net carbs), and some cinnamon. Worked for me. I made it like a pudding, not a shake, and ate it with a spoon.
Not sure about this particular application, but some of the unsweetened koolaids (grape and black cherry especially) can add a lot of flavor with a very small amount (1/8 tsp or less for a tall glass). They are pretty tart though, and may require sweetener.Just a thought. 🙂
a lot of those squirty water enhancers are zero carb if you'd want something light and crisp, like MIO and stuff. my grocery store has a ton of different kinds. just double check the ingredients.
