AciDMemberWhat is an avarage weight loss for people doing orientation phase?I lost 5lbs which seems very small for me Now I'm 197 and it's end of my 9-days prep phase. I did some HIITs so no reason to get to full 10.How was this in your case? Did you lose like 10lbs or did you lose even less than me?Cheers!Ps Jeez - I make a lot of topics lately... Sorry for that, this is last one for some time:D haha

There's really no "average" for people in general. There's an average for people of a given lean body weight, because that's where the majority of water is stored: in the muscle tissue. Those numbers are represented in the weight delta tables in the Carb Back-Loading book.Only 5lbs does seem a rather small amount for someone of your size and leanness. Are you sure of your body fat %? That's the first question. The next question would be whether you feel you did the prep phase strictly enough to lose all of the water weight you could lose.
Ps Jeez - I make a lot of topics lately... Sorry for that, this is last one for some time:D haha
That's fine! As long as they are distinct questions or topics of discussion, you are totally fine.

AciDMemberI'm quite sure my prep phase was strict, I ran on total fumes during last day.Maybe I'm more in BF that's just my not proffesional eye, don't have special equipment to mesure this.just one more thing:I am using creatine, so that stops some of the water. However, I was using it before prep, so didn't want to mess the numbers so I did not change anything.

stumprrpMemberI lost only 5 pounds starting at 250. However i think i could of did it a little better, as doing low carb the week before a lifting contest i lost 4 pounds in 5 days. Dont worry about it.
