Workout when sick

    Ah it depends, but it could be alright. I would drop HIIT and just lift though.

    Exercising actually has the potential to make you heal quicker, as a rule of thumb if your sickness affects you above the neck only then workout as usual, if you have a symptom that occurs below the neck then you might have to drop something.

    I'm going to go against the grain here and say no. Training puts stress on the immune system and will most likely will slow recovery getting over a cold or illness. But, I have trained getting over a cold just not balls out and not when I'm in any kind of a contagious stage.

    If a stomach bug or flu or sinus infection yeah I'd suggest no training. A headache or cold or cough, should be okay.
