Before starting CBL I used to sprint 100 meter dashes for my HITT, however the spikes I currently use are no good for the longer 200-400 meter sprints that CBL calls for. Can someone recommend a spike/trainer shoes that I should look into getting, specifically for the 400m.

Sprinting Spikes should cover up to 400m.  I always used my track spikes for all my sprints and never had any issues. However here is a link that shows Spikes for Long Distance, Mid Distance and Sprints:http://www.runningwarehouse.com/catpage-MTSP.html

I prefer Vibram 5 fingers. Love'm. I lift in them too.

People wear spikes for HIIT? I didn't realize that was a thing.

Any sort of crossover/trainer meant for more than one activity should suffice. The lighter the more similar to spike/barefoot, if that's your bag.

Only shoes I wear are Nike Free Runs. Hands down the most comfortable shoes I've worn.
