I have been doing 5×5 workout and on workout days I have been eating like 3000 calories from chicken thighs. There is a lot of fat in these meats and I am thinking that I probably don't need the skin, at least not on all pieces right? I don't lose much weight but i am leaning out and still getting my 5 pound increase per workout.
Well you can be eating to much, if it's 3000 calories just from chicken thighs that is a insane amount if you figure it on top of the rest of your foods. However if you are leaning out you are probably recomping. Doing 5x5 are you a new lifter? If you are it's best to simply ride the recomp train as long as you can.
