Mike KaffenbergerMemberSo after a few years of being a disgusting fatbody (strong, but still disgustingly fat) I decided to quit poking fun at my much more athletic friends who apparently have their shit together on CNS and CBL. Defense mechanism fo sho.Anyway, my wife and I have been incredibly committed to CNS since the New Year. Yes, that's us--the "New Year, new me" jackasses. Well, it had to start somewhere I suppose. Since adapting to this lifestyle, I've wanted to murder my wife, kids, and co-workers about a million times (full-on glycogen depletion turns me into the weakest Hulk ever). I should also note that now that my body has adjusted, I'm back to my old self...just 31 pounds and 8% body fat less. I'm faster, more agile, and happier. My strength has diminished considerably, which is partly why I'm here.I work out. A lot. A lot a lot. 6 days a weak I'm throwing around heavy-ass weight like it was my job (which would be awesome). I truly enjoy lifting and I will never stop, regardless of diet protocol. I also enjoy cardio...in doses. I've incorporated steady-state cardio 3 times a week as well as HIIT 3 times a week. I know it seems like a lot but it makes me happy and keeps me focused on the task at hand--250 lbs @ 12% body fat.January 1, 2015 I started my journey at 318 lbs @ 35.6% bodyfat. I'm 6'3", so I wore it as well as I could. Today is Day 48 of CNS. I stayed strictly to the protocol. No deviations. No slip-ups. Today I'm proud to say I'm down to 287 lbs @ 28% body fat. Moobs are almost gone. Back is looking big. Love handles...dammit...soon. But my size 44 fatass jeans no longer fit. I am back in my size 38 and 40 jeans that I had been unable to comfortably wear in 3 years. I look good in shirts. My kids notice I don't huff and puff after playing outside with them. My dog stopped cuddling with me (assuming he's pissed he doesn't have a mound of a pillow to rest on anymore). But I feel good. I'm just looking for some support, motivation, and good ol' fashioned fun with you like-minded freaks of nature that decided to buck the norm and rage a gnarly War on Carbs.

Penny DannerParticipantWelcome!!I dont know how you've done it though on CN with that much working out. You must have super huge CNs like Scope. Check out his food log. Have y0u thought about moving to CBL? I hear a person can still lose fat pretty well with that.

Well...I've been thinking about CBL. Can't argue with the results so far, though. I would like to see my strength come back and so far it hasn't.And yes, when I have my CN, it is a total shit show. Imagine Baby Huey with chocolate smeared all over his face, curled up in the fetal position in a corner sucking his thumb, rocking back and forth, crying his self to sleep. It's worse. ;D
