I like to use Optimum Gold Standard Casein at night…2 scoops with water and TBS of coconut oil before bed.First is this acceptable on ULC days and Ive also noticed it has Ace K in as do most proteins i've seen besides the very expensive Isopure ...is this a big deal as long as I add the oil to blunt the insulin response...Thanks
So casein can be used on it's own to top up protein levels pre bed and not cause insulin to rise like whey does? Or does it still need to be twinned with some fat pre bed?

Some folks tend to have some fat with it before bed, like cottage cheese. It's a slow rise
