To save money, I am thinking about swapping Whey Isolate for Cocentrate Post-Workout.  I am still going to take Whey Hydroslate, Casein, and Dextrose with it.  I am not lactose intolerant, so I don't have a problem tolerating the concentrate, but are there other things that Isolate has over Concentrate?

You've covered the main one – others would include solubility and overall protein content per unit of weight. If I may ask, what concentrate are you looking at? There is fairly affordable WPI available online (~10-11/lb)

I was look ing at Protein Factory's New Zealand Whey Concentrate.  It is $35 for a 5 lb bag.  I can easily afford paying $12/lb for protein, but I come from a frugal backload and I look to save money whenever possible.  I am still gonna buy Isolate for the pre-workout shake.

Sounds like a solid plan.Only I can think of that might be cheaper is to replace the entire PWO stack with this (http://www.truenutrition.com/p-1098-recession-ultra-whey-blend-25lbs.aspx) plus your dextrose. With a 5% coupon code (AND028) you're looking at 6.60$/lb. for WPC/WPI/Hydro (50/25/25) in one package. You'd have to buy flavoring packs separate but that's really the only down side.

I would stick with the isolates.  You can get some decent priced isolates, just look for the indie companies, or at deep-discount websites, or scour eBay.  You won't spend much more than $35 for 5 lbs, if you spend more, at all.Nutra-Planet has some good deals:  http://www.nutraplanet.com@ Nutra-Planet, I have scored some MGN pure whey isolate for mid-$30s price-range, before.  5 lbs!!!  Just gotta keep checking back -- when they offer discounts, like that, they tend to go REALLY fast.  So, keep them book-marked.A good brand on eBay, that I have used, is One Body Nutrition:  http://stores.ebay.com/onebodynutritionThey're an indie company out of MA, who uses eBay as a marketplace (i.e., no overhead or marketing expenses).  They have a best offer option, and I got my 5 lb. Whey Iso for $40 + shipping.  Without best offer, it goes for $49 + shipping.  Still a good deal.  The macros are good, too.  105 cals, 0g fat, 1g carb, and 25g protein (per scoop).  Comes in vanilla, chocolate and strawberry flavors.  One Body has a good seller rating, too.Othertimes, on eBay, you will find cheap designer brand stuff, too, like ON or Isopure, etc.  Just gotta be diligent.  I never go without Isolate, now.  I am on a budget, too.Hope this helps.Cory
