Just got the book yesterday and I'm sifting through the loads of information and trying to digest everything before I start the preparation phase. I want to have a thorough understanding of the system and my plan going into it. To get to my question.. Will the new formulations of Biotest's Mag-10 and Anaconda fit into the system? Labels and product pages can be found here: http://www.t-nation.com/store/supplements/anaconda-mag-10.jspWhat has me overthinking all of this is the addition of the "cyclic dextrin" carb sources in their formulas now. They've incorporated these into anaconda and mag-10 rather than using surge workout fuel as a periworkout carb source. Tim Patterson himself endorses them periworkout and they claim they don't work like normal carbs and have a "fat burning" effect. (I, along with most people, have no idea what this means and they said they might elaborate with an article in the future) I would just use the old carbless formulas in order to save any and all carbs until after the workout but they aren't making them anymore. I've got a decent little stock of the new formulas and their metabolic drive low carb proteins (label found here: http://www.t-nation.com/store/supplements/metabolic-drive-low-carb.jsp) and would like to keep using them because I feel I have gotten pretty favorable results in the past.I know you can use anything technically, but I would like to not hinder results from the diet so I can accurately assess how my body reacts to the system.So.... Mag-10/Anaconda periworkout with metabolic drive shakes...ย ๐ orย ๐Thanks for any insight and help. Cheers.
