I've been doing CBL for little over a month now.. And im loving it! Except for one little thing, I'm NOT ganing weight!I started the prep phase at 185, slimed to about 178, then jumped right back up to 185 when i started cbling. I've been waking up with tight skin being able to see my abs, my strength also has gone up quit a bit. But the weight gain has not been coming at all.. I gained 1 lb, only to see it go away yesterday, Im going from 182-185, no more, no less! What am i doing wrong??? Should i restart from scratch?

I know people will need more info about what you are actually eating but as a start, to add muscle, you need to dial in the post workout carbs.  You must have enough.  How much weight did you lose during the prep phase, and did you use the chart at the back of the book to determine carb requirements?

Yeah if you want to gain weight, gotta eat more during the backload period.

So even if I feel like I've gotten off track a little, just eat more? I don't want to re do the prep phase, but if it would help than I would..

The prep phase makes sure your body can properly burn fat, that seems to be fine for you,If its muscle you want, the backload is the most likely culprit.Eat the right amount of carbs, and eating fat with the carbs (Kiefer has said the clients who do best on CBL eat fatty foods with the carbs, think Pizza and turnovers)Also, a pre-workout shake is suggested and the full AM shake, with WPI.

One more important thing is that if you are trying to gain mass, you must also eat a lot during the ULC portion of the day.  You should have the accelerator shake when you wake up and you should be eating at least two pre-workout meals and the pre-workout shake.

Got it, but on the shakes how much protein can I get away with eating without spiking my insulin?
