After reading this ]http://dangerouslyhardcore.com/forum/index.php?topic=893.msg23082#msg23082]I decided to make a mini pwo shake right before bed time.Basically with the theory that the wpi and the leucine would quickly spike then end the insulin response. (also adding creatine to take advantage of the spike). According to Kiefer, we want to clear the insulin response quickly at bed time in order to allow the bodies hormone system to kick in.Anyone see any problems with this solution.Btw last night, after trying this, I sweat like crazy and woke up looking pretty good. I did my normal CBL just added the bedtime shake.
I always take a shake one hour before bed. I figure I would get the same benefits as taking it just before bed, except that insulin has an hour to rise and fall.
I'm only leary because close to bed I stop drinking water. Since one of the aspects of creatine is to pull water into the muscle, and most directions say to consume plenty of water when taking creatine, the fact that I'm not drinking anything makes me question the creatine. I'm not sure what effect there could be, if anything, but since I don't know….it's realy a decision made from ignorance rather than information.
