Melatonin definitely helps a lot, but 30 minutes isn't enough I think. I take it an hour, even an hour and a half before I intend to sleep. Digestive enzymes seem to facilitate things for me, stomach stops rumbling and I don't have as much reflux. If I have large back-loads, I try to keep the fat more modest as it will slow down digestion. I also always finish with ice cream or some type of frozen dessert because it cools me down, so I don't heat up before I fall asleep, and by that point I stay asleep, completely knocked out. Try eating a tub of the stuff, not a pint or one of those children serving sizes, see if you are still warm after that lol

I have the same issue.  I have tried all of the sleep aids except drugs, and ever since I started CBL I have a horrible time sleeping.  Both going to sleep and staying asleep.  I  used to wake up ready to rock in the morning, now all I want to do is go back to sleep.  Its crazy like a complete turn around.  I carb cycled before.

Box of cinnamon buns, tub of quark + 2 scoops of casein and a half-gallon of ice cream.

You know, low-fat soft cheese 😛 I don't eat that much anymore, was more of a LG-friendly food. High protein, low everything else.Tasty as hell when you dump protein powder in it though.
