I need to start reorientation phase…argh!

    I was beyond naughty this past weekend. My CN turned into a 3-day carb feast! I am so disappointed in myself, however, a part of me knew I needed to start fresh. I have been a bit overwhelmed with trying to log my food daily. One day I would be great, then the next day I would forget, etc. I have also put a request into Body IO for coaching. I’m hoping this may help guide me a bit too as I tend to shy from the Forums in case I ask a silly question or the wrong question in the wrong forum. It’s only been a month for me tinkering with CNS and I do have to say so far I LOVE this way of eating. Overloading on the carbs this weekend made me sick! Literally. During the week on my ULC days I feel fantastic. Numbers have NOT moved and finding this a bit frustrating, but trying to have FAITH!

    My question is….between now and Thursday (Thursday will be day ONE Reorientation), shall I just watch my carb intake or can I start eating ULC (under 30 grams) right away?

    It’s okay, these things happen. 🙂 Don’t bother feeling disappointed in yourself, the past is the past and it should stay that way. Tomorrow is a new day full of new opportunities and new choices.

    I would suggest starting your own log in the CN member’s log section, and since you have trouble putting your food into MFP, try just logging it first. Don’t worry about writing the weights or exact amounts, just start by listing what you’re eating every day in your log. Once you get that down move on to getting more precise about the amounts and putting them into your food tracker (MFP).

    As far as your question goes, its completely up to you what you want to do between now and day 1 of the 10 day prep. Personally I would try and move any carbohydrate consumption to the evenings if you’re going to have it before you start. Though if you really want to you can start early and just go longer than 10 days. Again, up to you.

    Hey jessegirl, it happend to me last weekend and I stoped feeling bad about it and I am now in the prepphase once again. It happens and you’ll be back on track soon!

    I would just start right away and do a longer prep phase, keep it going while you are motivated! But like Spatz said it’s entirely up to you. I know I have slipped up and restarted the prep phase several times, I just remind myself that it’s a lifestyle and not just a quick fix and get back on it!

    I would like to log my food but cannot find the members forum. Spatz kindly sent me the link however it gives me an error message. Is anyone else having issues with this?
