Hi all 🙂So until now I was the "6 meals a day" nutrition type. I lift for about 1 and a half year and since this year i got a full nutrition plan. When i first heard of CBL last week i got so excited i bought the book. I finished it about an hour ago and since i want to start on Monday with my Prep. Phase i got a few questions. My weight is about 82kg(180lbs) and my bodyfat is around 20% - my goal would be Density Bulking. So my TDEE is about 3,2k Kcal - should i eat this amount in the Prep phase without the carbs or should i eat less generally? After my Prep Phase when i lost - for example - 5 lbs that would be 455g carbs...Is that the amount i should eat on the Backload Days or aim a bit higher for Bulking up?The Pre Carb-Mealtimes before training, in the chart which weigth should be my target weight? When my weight is about 180lbs should i take small steps to 182 or go for 185 - or generall just experiment what works for me? And this are the calories I should eat before going to the gym right? After Gym, when Backloading I should aim to eat higher than my TDEE right?I use a 2 Split programm which trains every Muscle 2 times a week. My rhythm is like this Training, Day off, training, day off ... So i backload on Training Days and at how much Calories should i aim on Off Days? Thanks for your help guys 🙂

Hey, welcome and first things first you have forget the whole calorie mentality! Base everything you eat off of how you feel and second when your low carb aim for a 1:1 ratio of fats to protein (not calories) but grams. Also if your density bulking backload every night at that amount you need depending on your prep phase.  If you don't want to backload. Every night then backload after heavy training sessions or the day before a heavy training session. Ideally carb back loading is to prepare for the next workout while recovering from the last.

Ok thanks – i really gotta loose that “calorie counting” attitude – you know once you started that its hard to think in anything else 😀I will go to the gym now and reread some parts of the Book after. I guess i will shoot more questions later 😉

Hey, so i planned my Nutrition for the 10 Preparation Days And i got about 228g Proteins, 181g Fat and 22,5g Carbs – but that is WITHOUT the Post workout shake – and since i have no isolates yet i dont drink a sustainer shake, is that ok or should i try to get more fat? Thanks 🙂
