Kiefer recently dropped very currious hints at some more advanced protocols. From what I can gather...Fat Backloading, i.e. more fat later in the backload (is this just the typical strategy or something a bit different, I've never seen it given a title)Glycemic Loading, i.e. higher glycemic later in the backload, even using some low glycemic pre workout, generaly for intense training protocolsAny thoughts or insights, anyone working these protocols at that advanced of a level? Success?Disclaimer,  sorry if it has been hashed out, I did  search and just root words come up...

The fat backloading thing you kind of have right, but I don't think he said that about "Glycemic Loading."  Essentially you want to spike your insulin as high as possible once the glut4 is very sensitive.  I don't think he said exactly what should be in your intra-workout shake if you have one, but I would guess it would be dextrose.  This is mostly in the last article, but there is one other thread that sort of hashes this out.  I think it's the "Physique Show" one.

I think Glycemic loading was for his strongman competitors, due to such a high caloric demand he would have carbs the whole day, starting from low GI, then after the workout high GI. Not just a backload window.

Great thanks guys, that cleared up some of my understanding. I'm gonna think about some periworkout carbs and see how that goes. Seems like Kiefer encourages experimentation at these parts of the workout window based on goals and such.
