I have been reading the forums for a while, and just purchased the book this week, so an three days into my introduction phase.  Low carb sucks…..My question is this:For those of us who are larger than the average bear, are the dosages on general health supplements sufficient, or should we be using more?  I am 6'2" and 270lb right now.  The supplements I am talking about would be multivitamins, probiotics, niacin, red yeast rice, B complex, Vitamin C, and CoQ10.Any ideas from the medical community on here would be appreciated.

Fishoil should be in there. This should be the #1 supplement for everybody.

As you are a bit 'larger than the average bear', yes supplementation should be slightly increased.  However, here's my take on supplements.  They are supplements.  As long as you're consuming plenty of vegetables, meats, eggs, Omega fatty acids, and some coconut oil you're going to be providing the body what it needs.  Having some extra B-vitamins in there may help, but it may just be adding expensive urine.  I'll have to get back to you on recommendations for those...but you can google their optimal ranges with a tagline "maximum dosage" or "complications with" to get a listing of limits for people.  Everyone will be slightly different too in this case.  It's like one of those questions that Kiefer goes, "it depends."
