Just wondering if anyone else has thrown L-Carnitine into the mix with their supplements and the CBL System? I have along with my Omega-3 Fish Oils, Creatine, Hydro Whey, Leucine and Multi-Vit. Am I doubling up on already alike supplements? or will the L-Carnitine provide extended benefits…I have like 10qrts of it in…1500mg.

I wouldn't think the added supplement will help anymore than what you have already with CBL. Maybe CNS but then again just use diet/nutrition as a fat loss tool.

I take 2g of L-Carnitine after training with my PWO Shake.  The reason I do this is because research shows that L-Carnitine binds to androgen receptors, which also binds to testosterone.  Since Test levels are high postworkout, it make sense to supplement with it.

I take it after my workouts as well…2g. Also take 2g at bedtime with 1g Glycine Propionyl-L-Carnitine  (GPLC).

I've been a long time fan of acetyl carnitine for a long time for nootropic purposes but just read a Poliquin article that suggests it does better for fatloss when taken with omega 3's.

I use Acetyl-L-Carnitine (ALCAR) pre-workout and pre-cardio.  I use it for two main reasons:1.  It opens new androgen receptor sites in muscle cells, thus more free testosterone gets RIGHT in where it needs to go.2.  It is shown to mobilize fatty acids, which cardio (or lifting) then burns for energy.  In other words -- elevated fat loss!Cory

…but I use it currently with CNS, but I will still be using it with CBL.Cory
