If whey protein causes an insulin spike, then why does Kiefer recommend it several time throughout the ULC phase?  And how does fat neutralize eggs' insulin spiking tendencies? Thanks again guys

Fat slows release of other foods into the bloodstream thus avoiding a sudden release of of protein which could spike insulinHaving an insulin spike post workout is important to stop your body from breaking down muscle tissue. Insulin in your bloodstream makes both your fat cells and your muscle cells anabolic (makes them want to grow, or at least stop shrinking)

Are you not reading the book? The amount Kiefer specifies isn't enough to spike your insulin. He says so in the same chapter. 🙂

Really?  I read the book this week but I don't remember that point… Maybe it's just been a lot of information to process.  Anywho, thanks for the answers
