Howdy,Got a wee problem, I think. Due to work I often have to train at 4pm ish then finish training at 5.30. I then usually have 2 more hours of work from 6 till 8 and then I'm free for the night. Is it worth to hold off on the carbs till 8? So only have the PWO shake sans carbs at 6 ish, wait 2 hours, have 1 high carb meal, wait another 1 hour and have another tasty high gi dessert? I'm doing SA so I'm not really looking to pack on size and in those 2 meals I could easily hit the carbs I'm looking for. I'm just thinking about the timing and whether I'm losing that 'window' straight after training. Your thoughts would be great!

I would have a PWO shake with dextrose. Kinda counts as that “low-fat-clean-meal”. Then once you get done with work have say pizza or carb meal at least 1-2 hours before bed.
