First Carb Nite, have a look folks

    Hey all!So tomorrow night is my first Carb-Nite, looking for some opinions on my plan if possible. heres what it looks like....Pre-workout : Beef+SpinachTrain          -  3pm  (Heavy Deadlift day)Start of CN  - 5pmMeal One    -  Chicken+White RiceMeal Two    -  2 Home-made Cheese Burgers with Bun+Oven FriesMeal Three  - 4 large Chocolate Ring Doughnuts  (Before Bed)Totals:3680 Kals312  Carbs162  Protein156  Fat


    So could you's shed some light on these questions for me please..Too much fat?Not enough Carbs?Not enough Protein?Should I have Protein with Meal 3 before bed?Some stats if helpful:Male6ft192.4lbs22% BF (roughly)Sorry for the number crunching and over-thinking of this whole process but being it my first Carb-Nite i want to know exactly where im at if things need to be tweaked so in the future i can have effortless Carb-Nites 🙂 Thanks in advance for opinions!

    More protein. Hit at least 1 gram per pound body weight (especially since it's your heavy deads day) and make sure to have some before bed. Also you can probably afford to have quite a bit more carbs, like double or more what you have planned. Remember it's pretty much impossible for you to store them as body fat after not having more than 30 grams per day for 4+ days (9 1/2 in your case). Go to town. Since you work out and and would benefit from fully replenishing your muscle glycogen stores you should try and hit 870 grams or so (about 10 g per kg body weight is a standard carb load guideline).

    Cool, thanks for the reply.So i ended up eating 500g of carbs friday past, woke up the next day still kinda looking flat with a little bloat from all the salt.I going to take your advice and hit some big numbers this friday with smarter food choices and see how i get on!
