If you've done keto pretty long term would you need to do the prep phase? My guess is no considering they're pretty much identical...I took a 1 week break from keto and im wondering if the prep phase is necessary.Right now I'm 3 days into ULC and i'm still lifting heavy (300lbs+ on deadlifts which is a lot for me...).
If you have been eating a true “less that 30 carbs” diet consistently, then I would say the momentum for CBL to work is already present. Going further into that I will add that if you have any food sensitivities going on the detox diet may be beneficial.
Well I took about a 1-week break from the diet (keto diet). But i was doing it for months (so my body must be pretty fat-adapted).I've been working out with no carbs to deplete my glycogen.By detox diet do you mean no gluten?

If you purchase the book you will find it in the CBL official Q and A section. If you will find it in the Flex article Kiefer did (I'm not sure which issue).
