There isn't much wrong with snacks from a fat loss perspective, just stay below 30 g of carbs each day.  However, once you get used to going low carb, it is good for your health to give your digestive organs a break.Anyways I would suggest string cheese, macademia nuts, jerkey, or pork rinds.

Every thing you eat (that has calories) has an insulin response. For optimum fatloss snacking isnt going to help. Snacking between meals can only serve to keep insulin up for a longer duration which would impede fatloss. Brian Im not surprised if you feel a bit dodgy during the early part of the day since you had been using cream and coconut oil and decided to take them out. Put the coconut oil back in but save the cream for later on. I bet that will be a massive help to your energy levels. Did you do the prep phase? Problems with energy could be down to not being properly fat adapted.

See that's the other thing I only did a 3 day prep phase, I have been thinking of going off the diet for a couple weeks then going back and doing a full prep phase.Do you think 8-10 hours is a long enough fast though before i put CO in my coffee though? My main goal is fat loss.

Your main goal is fatloss, but , without feeling like crap. If you want to avoid that feeling I think Coconut Oil will do the trick. Remember Coconut Oil spikes ketone production which can aid in additional fatloss. Give it a try for a week or two before changing anything else.

If you aren't eating carbs, meal frequency will not have much of a difference because the insulin response is very low.  I agree it is best to eat only a few meals, but I am just being honest with Brian, it won't make much of a difference.  If he is at a sticking point it might be something to consider.

Ok. So I'm going to go back to doing Coconut oil in my first coffee of the day and see how I feel. Thanks for the help guys.
