To start off I’m 5’11 248 lbs im starting low carb tomorrow. But I workout 4 times a week I lift heavy for low reps in th 4-6 range. looking to drop body fat. I think I’m around 30% body fat. So I just want to know if I should do carb night of carb backloading.

How long are your workouts…how many sets?

You may benefit more from cutting out one day and seeing how you feel lifting 3 days and shedding some fat before going to CBL. Your lifts MAY suffer a little.

My workouts are short about 30 min. With about 20-24 sets. I just started low reps high weight so I’m still tweaking it out.

Workout plan? Not really. I’m workout out of a apt complex gym which has a total body cable machine. But I’m doing day 1. Chest calves 2 back and abs 3 shoulders and calves 4 upper body and abs 5 legs and shoulders. I want to do a workout to hit each twice a week but I don’t have the equipment yo justify it.
I am looking for a squat rack and bench for my garage.

If your primary goal is fat loss then do CN until you’re closer to your goal weight. Then switch out to CBL. Keep in mind that doing CN will mean having to cut WAY back on lifting, or you’ll sabotage your efforts, but you can pick it up again when you’re happy with your weight and go to CBL.

Yea I’m looking for fat loss so I will be doing cns. I did 4 months of ckd and drop 30 lbs. without count my macros. but for workout I’m going to start doing full body workouts 3-4 days a week.
