just check the carb content, most packaged sausages have it listed. if it says dexstrose or startch in it, and the carb contenet is still 0, just round it up to 1g, companies can round it down to 0 if its low enough. and accomdate from there
I just would not eat anything with dextrose or starch in it even if it was a small amount and with fat. Everyone has different insulin sensitivity so no one can say if it will or won't spike your insulin too much. I would guess that if you must eat sausages like that having them later in the day or post workout would be preferable.
