    Hello ALL!

Just curious if I’m backloading right..it’s been a while since I’ve “checked-up.” So, I know that the pre-workout and intra workout I’m doing isn’t 100% recommended, but I really just want to know how my food selection looks for CBling post workout…here goes whole protocol:

    6pm – Pre- Workout John Meadow’s Concoction
    6:15pm – Pre Training Caffeine
6:30pm – Start workout (Drink 1-3 Scoops Intra MD Intra Workout)
    7:30pm – End Workout
    7:45pm – 1 Scoop Whey Iso
    8:00-8:15pm – 1-2Cups Kids Cereal + 1 Scoop 50/50 Protein Mix (Whey Concentrate/Milk Protein) + 11-12 Sour Patch Kids Candies (these ok?)
8:30pm – 4oz Chicken + 1 Cup Ready Rice (is this too low glycemic??)
9:00pm – White Bread & Jelly +1 Kiwi + 1 TBS Local Honey + a Few Graham Crackers (some eaten together NOT ALL)
9:30pm – Cheesecake Factory Slice of Cheesecake + 50/50 Protein Blend
10:30-10:45pm – ½ Cup Nonfat Cottage Cheese + Chobani Yogurt
    11pm – Bed

    Thought? Correction?

    Thanks!

Do you have any idea what that comes out to be macro-wise? I mean it all looks good to ME – but throwing in that slice of cheesecake (especially from The Cheesecake Factory) could really blow that out…

    Steve,

I keep up with macros..every single day lol!…so yes, for that day I was at:

    4,066 Cals
    283g Protein (33%)
    388g Carbs (44%)
    90g Fat (23%)

    Thanks,

Holy smokes Z, that is a LOT for a single backload, that’s damn near a Carb Nite. Your protein is mad high too, and that can kick off a serious insulin response all by itself. I’d cut your carbs (without knowing your weight and whatnot) to no more than 125-150g a night as long as you’re lifting hard and cut that protein down to 1g (or possibly even .8g) per pound of body weight while bumping up your fat to about the same – then split out that fat and protein so you’re getting half of it in during ULC and the other half during your BL. Maybe somebody else will chime in with a better plan, but wowzers, lol :|. I just started CBL this week, switching from CN, but everything I’ve read leads me to think that’s way too much.

Of course, if you really ARE an 800lb gorilla, then by all means, carry on. 😀
