AyliffeKeymasterSo i'm a little confused about something. In the book, the fasted training section says to treat the post workout nutrition the same as normal. But the sample meal plan says “(no carbs)” for the post workout shake. So do you add carbs to your post workout shake or not? If so.. do you go back to eating low carb after that shake until 6 pm to begin your backload? Thanks.

Richard SchmittModeratorIn the mornings just whey isolate and Leucine. You'll backload the night prior to the morning training not that might. Unless you plan to lift heavy the next morning.

Conditioning doesn't really count. You could always experiment with backloading after it, but it might not be as effective.

This is going to depend on you.You could likely backload after conditioning work, but you might not have all the benefits you would from lifting.

I've made backloads part of my martial arts training days. But those work outs are aerobic/bodyweight conditioning and last from 1:30-2 Hours

khr86Guestif fatloss is your goal for the workout, you probably dont want to backload, if conditioning is the purpose, a backoad could be warrented, maybe not a full backload.
